Bonjour!

My whirlwind wedding weekend started with a Parisian bridal shower, hosted by my fabulous Mom!  I was lucky enough to plan this soiree with her and it came together beautifully!  I have always loved all things “Paris,” and was thrilled to design details for the day.  There were too many to count, including a baguette filled bicycle basket, ceiling filled with parasols and macaron escort cards.  It was a perfect day and too much fun to put together.  Here are a few pics of some elements – I promise I will continue to share more!

A big thanks to my lovely bridesmaid Shannon for capturing these photos!

Each guest received a custom tote filled with all of their game supplies.  We are competitive bunch that loves games – and they were the hit of the shower!

“Paper Doll Lara” is my favorite shower game!!!  Each guest was given a doll and all of the supplies to design a wedding dress.  There were so many creative dresses and each one was so unique!

Shower bingo is always a blast!

One of my favorite photos from the day – our Barista made cappuccinos, lattes and more for everyone.  YUM!!!

Strawberry chocolate on the inside, French and fabulous on the outside!

One small drawing became the backdrop for this gorgeous Patisserie -  It was decadent and beautiful!  Arlene from Sweet Weddings outdid herself!

Me and H – I couldn’t ask for a better Mom!

Welcome 2012!

Happy New Year!!!

Phew… 2011 was one busy year and the past few months have flown!  Between designing and merchandising good ole DBE, I got married, went on a Hawaiian honeymoon and celebrated the holidays.  Needless to say, I have been one naughty blogger!  BUT – not to fear, Cut and Paste is back and I’m ready to show you all of the wonderful things that are going on behind the curtain at DBE!

So please check back soon!!!  Lots of goodies on the way… and in the mean time, here’s a sneak peek from the best day of my life!

A few months ago, I had the opportunity of working with the sweetest bride and her wonderful family!  Planning a destination wedding here in St. Augustine, the Barlow girls worked with me to create custom menus, escort cards, welcome bags, favors, table numbers and programs!  It’s always so much fun designing an entire suite for a client.  It truly brings a wedding together and makes it cohesive!

A favor and menu for each guest!  Inside the cute little box are two white chocolate seashells, nestled on a bed of brown sugar sand!

These sailboat table numbers were the perfect way to bring a touch of nautical to the wedding!

With directions on the back of the map, each guest could travel around St. Augustine with ease.  We rolled these up, tied them with twine, and popped them into welcome bags for the guests!

The Gorgeous Bride!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back To School

I really don’t think it gets much cuter than the back to school theme.  Pencils, rulers, glue, tape…oh man, this is my heaven!   This time of year really is fresh and crisp, bringing a cute energy to everyone!  I would love to throw a back to school party, just imagine the cuteness that would take over.  Brown bag lunches, cookies and milk, chalkboards, PB & J’s…you can really put a party together easily!  All the while, dressed to perfection in cardigans, tights and maryjanes!

Happy Back to School!

1 I’m thinking you would definitely become teacher’s pet with these cupcakes!
2 I am obsessed with anything mini… this is too adorable!
4 & 5 I + LOVE = You
6. My favorite cupcake kit – get one, or two!

Fall in Love

I love The White Room!  It’s one of the best spots in St. Augustine for receptions, showers and parties.  The exposed brick, hardwood and bay front location make every theme and style stand out!

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to participate in their quarterly tasting.  I created favors, escort cards and table numbers…all autumn themed!  Take a peek at the pics from the day!

Such a fun a sweet fall favor.  S’mores!  Can you smell the bon fire or what???

The s’more pack is tucked inside the cute  muslin bag.  Stamped with a leaf and detailed with a tag… “fall in love s’more and more and more and more!”

We were so thrilled to get pumpkins for the tasting!  Shipped all the way from a family farm in Oregon, these baby pumpkins are the perfect escort card and keepsake for a fall themed wedding!

A simple table number is a great way to bring a theme together and add one last embellishment!

Happy Sunday
